Our Mission

The mission of Los Osos Early Care and Education Center is to nurture the individual while celebrating diversity and promoting social awareness in a culture which is rich and an environment where learning happens naturally.

Who We Are
Los Osos Early Care and Education Center is a unique non-traditional, child-centered program.  The Center provides quality care for children from six weeks of age to sixth grade.  Our program offers individualized, continuity of care in a home-like setting from experienced and educated professionals.

Care Availability
Los Osos Early Care and Education Center has availability for the following:

  • 9 infants (born between September 1st, 2010 and present)
  • 8 mobile infants (born between September 1st, 2009 and August 31st, 2010)
  • 10 toddlers (born between September 1st, 2008 and August 31st, 2009)
  • 18 children (3-years- to 5-years and must be three years by August 31st, 2011)
  • 9 school age children (before and after school care including transportation to and from Monarch Grove, Baywood Elementary and The Cambria Montessori Learning Center of Morro Bay)

Child Care Ratios

  • 1 care provider for every 3 infants
  • 1 care provider for every 4 mobil infants
  • 1 care provider for every 5 toddlers
  • 1 care provider for every 7 children
  • 1 care provider for every 9 school age children
