Cultural Celebrations
In a group care setting cultural celebrations are many and diverse. At Los Osos Early Care and Education Center, we encourage the shared celebration of each of them. Please share with your child’s care provider the possibility of sharing a cultural event, special food, music or activity with his/her group.

Birthday Celebrations
Like many traditions and customs, each family has its unique way of celebrating birthdays. If you would like to share a family birthday tradition at the center, please discuss options with your child’s care provider.

*If you plan to have a private birthday celebration away from the center, please be discrete with invitations. In is not necessary to invite all of the children from the group, however; feelings are easily hurt when party plans are discussed in the presence of the uninvited.
