Los Osos Early Care and Education Center offers a child-centered program that brings forth a child’s natural impulse to learn, explore, and interact with the world. Mutual respect for children, their parents and the care provider is the basis of our care and education program. Los Osos Early Care and Education Center believes in nurturing a child’s full potential. Encouraging self-expression and esteem for self and others provides the opportunity for children to be conscientious, thoughtful and socially aware people who are awake to the needs of their community. Contact with nature and exposure to art, music and rhythm are equally essential to the care and education process. Los Osos Early Care and Education Center believes in learning through inspiration in an atmosphere that is physically and emotionally safe, supportive, noncompetitive, carefree and aesthetically pleasing.

In this child-centered atmosphere, we acknowledge that you, as parent, are the most important person in your child’s life. We expect that you will communicate with us, as soon as you become aware, your wants and needs for your child while here at the center.
